Teena Patel

University of Doglando
After receiving her BS in psychology, Teena Patel worked with disadvantaged children, using the natural environment as a tool to teach them how to interact in positive ways with others. For the past six years, Patel has run Camp Doglando, which provides crucial life skills to adoptable shelter dogs and offers children invaluable experience in animal care, training, and handling, as well as opportunities to interact with dogs in nature. Patel is also a provider for TimberNook, a nature-based developmental program for children. Teena's will be the first TimberNook camp to combine play for children and dogs as part of its core curriculum.
