Our 1-day Summit on Connecting to Nature in an Urban World, April 19, features a morning plenary and roundtable sessions followed by interactive workshops and walkshops in the afternoon. Building on the Summit is our Conference, April 20-21, featuring keynotes speakers, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities.

Lucy is a marine biologist, ocean advocate and health coach with a Masters in Marine Environmental Protection. Her 10 years’ experience in marine education inspired her to open Sea Synergy in 2014, a marine awareness centre in Waterville offering a unique sea life exhibition and a variety of workshops that empower all ages and connect people with the ocean. Lucy has worked on research and conservation projects worldwide. In its short time open Sea Synergy has won awards in Irish Responsible Tourism for Natural Heritage and was nominated for an Ocean Hero award in 2016, as well as Business Woman in Kerry and Maritime Tourism Award in 2015. She is about to undertake a PhD in marine education and technology influencing youths wellbeing! Lucy loves sharing her passion for the ocean and talking about all things marine and nature related so come visit her at her poster for a chat about Ireland's fantastic marine life!
