Lesley Balido McClellan is an educational leader specializing in research and innovation to promote a holistic approach to the healthy development of the mind, body and spirit of all children in order to close achievement gaps in social-emotional well-being and academics. McClellan has a Doctoral degree in Education, 10 years of experience in the field and currently oversees Research and Innovation for the Pre-K 4 SA Program in San Antonio, Texas and leads research projects in outdoor learning and social-emotional development. Dr. McClellan’s research interests currently focus on the impact of the natural environment and mindfulness on the cognitive, social-emotional and neurological development of children.
