Building on the Summit is our Conference, April 20-21, featuring keynotes speakers, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities.

Kelsey Leonard serves on behalf of the Shinnecock Indian Nation as Tribal Co-Lead for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body. She also sits on the Natural Resources Committee for the Shinnecock Indian Nation leading tribal ocean protection efforts. Kelsey has previously worked for the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) as a legislative associate on tribal climate change adaptation. She holds an A.B. in Sociology and Anthropology from Harvard University, an MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford, and a J.D. from Duquesne University. Kelsey is an enrolled citizen of the Shinnecock Indian Nation.
