Melissa Holloway is a west coast native, spending her childhood in the forest and on the beach. These experiences led her to a career as a nature Interpreter and for the last 11 years, Melissa has been developing programs and events that connect children to nature. Melissa has shared her learnings at conferences such as the Interpretation Canada BC Conference and the Northwest Aquatic and Marine Educators conference. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide, certified Heritage Interpreter and holds a High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification. Currently employed as a Park Interpretation Leader with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, Melissa’s programming field is wide and diverse, from forest slugs to aquatic bugs!
