C&NN 2017 International Conference and Summit

Our 1-day Summit on Connecting to Nature in an Urban World, April 19, features a morning plenary and roundtable sessions followed by interactive workshops and walkshops in the afternoon. Building on the Summit is our Conference, April 20-21, featuring keynotes speakers, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities.

Being lucky enough to grow up on the beautiful North Shore, I have spent many years exploring and enjoying a variety of outdoor pursuits. These experiences have contributed to my passion to share it with children. Whether it is running outdoor adventure camps for youth during the summer or expanding my classroom into the local forests during the school year, witnessing the children being inspired and engaged by our natural world makes my job so much more satisfying.
