Hello and welcome to NYCALC!
My pronouns are she/her/hers. I live in Shepherdstown, having upriver from the DC area.
I’m a Team Lead in NCTC’s History and Partnerships Branch, which means I co-lead that Branch.
On the partnerships side, I support the NYCALC team as well as our Directorate Fellows Program (DFP) Team, with a focus on briefings and communications. For DFP, I also serve as Mentor Coach for Fellows' Mentors.
On the history side, I work closely with the Service’s History Committee, help arrange public lectures, and edit the USFWS Conservation History journal.

I’ve been with NCTC for 12 years—originally coordinating youth education across all Department of the Interior bureaus for the Secretary’s Youth, Partnerships and Service Office, then moving to FWS Headquarters doing similar work for the FWS, before moving to Shepherdstown in 2017, joining my Branch, then becoming a Team Lead… basically, we change my job every 3 years! I have a BA in psychology with a minor in Women's Studies, and I have an MA in Applied Sociology. I have non-profit, for-profit, and other federal work history—with the Smithsonian Institution and USDA. Outside of work, I can be found gardening, often, and I love to kayak. I also review films for the local American Conservation Film Festival, and I'm a Master Naturalist with the Potomac Valley Audubon Society.
