Kristine is the former Executive Director of NatureKids BC, a charity that since 2000 has been getting children and families outdoors exploring, learning about and stepping up for nature with a program of volunteer nature clubs. Each year NatureKids BC creates more than 4000 individual in-nature experiences by helping local nature clubs thrive in communities across British Columbia. Kristine believes that providing transformative in-nature experiences for children is probably the best conservation strategy going and that nature clubs are powerful tools to provide these experiences.
