Janani Eswar is the co-founder of GRIN (Growing in Nature) a social enterprise that in incubated by ArtyPlantz in Bangalore, India. She finds innovative ways of blending theatre, public speaking, art, photography, naturalist studies, playfulness, ecopsychology and entrepreneurship in her work. Over the past 5 years, 90,000+ individuals have been impacted by GRIN. She is tickled about finding a way to make even the crustiest person laugh and play in nature. Home-schooled since the age of 12, Janani counts a great deal of time spent climbing trees, many years of cooking and storytelling with her grandparents, and 21 years of being a sister to many as some of her top qualifications.
She has also spent the past 5 years studying and creating projects to increase nature connection in India. As a social entrepreneur who works with systems of sustainable, regenerative change, she dreams of a day when every child in India is given their right to nature.
