Scouts Canada
National Youth Commissioner
I am 23 years old and the National Youth Commissioner for Scouts Canada. I also Chair the National Youth Network and am an Officer on the Board of Governors. I'm currently working towards a degree in Child and Youth Care and plan on pursuing Child Protection. I believe in the power that nature can bring to healing families, keeping kids active, and teaching youth leadership skills through the outdoors. The love I have for Scouting stems from the fact that we are fully inclusive and give youth opportunities that they likely wouldn't find in other settings. I've travelled around the world with Scouts, conquered fears and I'm never afraid to take on new challenges. Scouting has been a safe space for me to learn and grow and now through my continued involvement I get to work with an incredible team and shape the future of the organization. My passions are family, inclusion and diversity, mental health awareness, and youth leadership. Can't wait to meet you at the conference!
